My First Duo Victory Royale in Fortnite, and what made this win even sweeter was that I was playing duo’s with my youngest son who was playing on my Xbox 360 Account, hence we have the same player name. When he gets a bit older ill set him up on his own account.

Team work is essential when playing Battle Royal games and Fortnite is no exception. Always talk to each other and let the other player know what you are doing, even if it’s stopping to pick up a med kit or chug down a shield pot. If you split up in a duo’s game and come in contact with another team then it rarely ends well for you, and your team mate will soon meet the same fate while trying to get your reboot card.

This was not our first Fortnite Duo match and I am sure it won’t be the last as they are a lot of fun, but they do require good tactics, communication and a cool head. Getting over excited or blaming your team mate for a loss is no way to play and is certainly no fun for anyone. If the situation starts to get a little heated then it’s time for a break, take 15mins and grab a drink and a snack.

How to get a Duo Victory Royale in Fortnite

Once you have the basics covered and you start getting some Fortnite Solo Victory Royale wins, you can team up with a friend and start to face the area together. Duo Royale’s are a huge amount of fun as you get to laugh and cry together. If you have 2 other friends that play you can even try Trio Victory Royale

Just like playing solo there is no easy way or quick way to win at Fortnite. Like any sport it takes practice practice and a little more practice as there is always someone better than you around the corner. As long as you’re having fun then keep on practicing.

Learn the strengths and weakness of the player you are playing with; my son always takes point as he is younger and faster than I am so I hang back slightly and play the mid to long range sniper game. Works well for us but may not work for everyone.

You and your team mate should always decide on general situation tactics before games so there is no need for in-game discussion around what to do.  make a plan on what to do if one of you is knocked down, do you get them up first or heal yourself?
